March 2009 - DP World Germersheim signs contract with CAMCO

DP World Germersheim is the multimodal terminal operating barges and trains between Rotterdam, Antwerp and Germersheim. It is the only multimodal inland terminal on the upper Rhine River.

In order to make the Out-Gate operations more efficiently, it awarded CAMCO the project to introduce a comprehensive automated Out-Gate system including a single OCR Camera portal, self-service kiosks and Gate Operating System.

The complete solution shall become fully operational in July 2009.
