DEC 2009 - CAMCO installs TrainGate at Combinant

Combinant is the new intermodal terminal  in Antwerp being built by  a consortium of  three companies: BASF, Hupac and IFB.

The terminal is due to come into operation in early 2010.

Combinant awarded CAMCO Technologies the introduction of a single TrainGate OCR system. TrainGate allows the automatic container and rail car identification of all inbound and outbound trains as well as the automated recording and tracki,ng of its condition when entering and leaving the terminal.

The TrainGate system will become operational at the same moment (February 2010) as the AutoGate solution that CAMCO is installing as well at Combinant.
