Small-team feel, big opportunities
What drew me to Camco was the approachable, small-team atmosphere. It feels personal and collaborative. Plus, the headquarters are close to Leuven, where I live, which makes it convenient.
I’ve been here for 9 months now, and what I love most is the variety in my job. No two days are the same. One day I’m coding or configuring, the next I’m testing with a customer or even going on-site. Those on-site visits are honestly super cool. You really see the impact of your work firsthand. My first international project was in Croatia, and that was an amazing experience.
Working at Camco can be challenging at times. Some problems are complex, but you’re never left to figure things out on your own. Colleagues and senior team members are always willing to jump in and help. That kind of support makes a huge difference.
There’s also a great social side to the job. We have monthly afterwork events where people from different departments get together. It’s a nice way to relax, chat – not always about work – and often we’ll grab a bite or a drink afterwards. It really adds to the sense of community here.
