Hands-on work and technical integration

I joined Camco Technologies two years ago. Before that, I worked as a business analyst at a consultancy company, but I missed the technical integration and being hands-on. At Camco, I found the balance I was looking for.

My job offers a good balance between office work and on-site work. At the office, I can immerse myself in technical drawings and electrical diagrams, while on-site I can assist the technicians where needed and work together with different cultures. When the workday ends, there is usually some time to explore the city.

My first project was a big one: Adani Ports Vizhinjam, located in India. This was the first time I saw all Camco solutions come together at one terminal. It was not easy to capture this much information at a high pace, but it also helped me grow fast. Being on site from the start gave me a solid base to build on.

What I like the most about working at Camco is the people I am surrounded with, we are a young and dynamic group, and we often meet outside of work for a drink or an activity. I also value the flexibility that comes with my job, and the company car and bicycle leasing are great extras.

After two years, I’m gradually learning project management skills on the go. Camco strongly encourages its employees to grow internally.
